About
I study CS & Statistics at Stanford. I like exploring and working on areas within procedural memory, observability infrastructure, and harness engineering.
Previously, I've spent extensive time working with enterprise data, software for space exploration, and emerging markets/commodities research.
Research
- Exoplanets — discovered 7 new exoplanets, of which 2 were potentially habitable; built the fastest and most precise signal-processing pipeline to discover, classify, and validate exoplanets in the Kepler Archives.
- Telescopes — beat the Hubble Space Telescope from the ground: reduced Keck II NIRC2 adaptive-optics imaging of six M31 star clusters and showed a 10m ground telescope resolves them sharper than HST in the near-IR.
- Star Clusters — spectroscopy of the open cluster NGC 4815; classified and validated 250+ stars, reduced telescope contamination by 9x, and fit isochrones to the cleaned HR diagram to pin the cluster's age and distance. First study of the deep-sky object since 1995.
- 3D Components for Deep-Sky Objects — converted FITS data into 3D-printed tactile models so blind and visually impaired students can study astronomy; designed and produced the first 6 physical components.
